As I’ve commented before, do you realise most the sources you link are paid for by the Maduro regime?
1. Truth: President Nicolás Maduro is the legitimate president.
That would be FALSE. The 2018 presidential election was declared illegitimate by democratic nations….so unless you’re down with Russia, China and Iran you’re wrong.
2. Truth: The economic crisis is caused by outside intervention, internal sabotage and the decline in oil prices.
FALSE. Serious sanctions on Venezuelan oil have only been announced in the last couple of weeks. Previous sanctions were very limited, almost all relating to confiscating assets of leaders of the regime known to be involved in drugs trafficking or violent repression.
3. Truth: The opposition is violent, not the Maduro government.
FALSE. If by opposition you mean the National Assembly — the legitimate government of Venezuela right now — then that is completely false. The assembly’s resistance has been entirely pacific, despite the attacks they have received from the Cuban-trained police.
4. Truth: The National Assembly acted in violation of the law and is in contempt of court.
FALSE. The National Assembly is the only legitimate body left in Venezuela. Maduro tried to sidestep them by creating a parallel assembly. Imagine if Trump got fed up with a US House controlled by Democrats and decided to make a new Constitutional House that he stuffed full of MAGA supporters. People would be quite angry, don’t you think?
The US Green Party really is a disgrace. Anti-democratic, anti-humanist, anti-progress.
Meanwhile, our families are starving, our relatives are dying from lack of basic medicines, there is no water in the house, the electricity cuts out all the time.
