Nuclear can be extracted from seawater, where it exists in equilibrium with uranium in the seabed. As you extract it from seawater, uranium will dissolve to keep the concentration constant, probably for millions of years…i.e. it could be considered renewable. Remember, the sun will eventually die, and solar will no longer be available. Geothermal is ironically from uranium decaying in the earth’s core, and there’s a finite amount…My opinion is that whether something fits the precise definition of renewable or not doesn’t really matter, only whether something is sustainable. What do you think?
