Have you thought about trying to get published as a response to this open letter? It is amazing how politicians of all colours are blind to the suffering of the Venezuelan people because it doesn’t suit their political narrative. The ironic thing is that I think it would make the Democratic Socialists much more credible if they came out and said, “Maduro is a dictator, Venezuela is a disaster, we should recognise the last legitimate body in the country — the National Assembly and its leader Juan Guaido”. Then people wouldn’t fear that their wing of the party is antidemocratic or otherwise dangerous….but hey, what do I know?
